Birthday dinner with 2 of my favorite girls, Andie and Molly, reminds me why we live in Florida for 183 days a year (that's for you if you're an IRS official or some other government snoop)... 

With Lisa away on business, I was left to fend for myself on my birthday, kill my own bugs, try to figure out how to work that thing on the wall to make it cooler in our house (I never did, had to wait for Andie to show me)...and try to find food in the refrigerator that hadn't expired too long ago.    

But the many kind, well wishes from friends was so gratifying. Thanks to Facebook, people remembered their (very) old friend's birthday.  Thank you, Facebook, and thank you to the many wonderful people in my life (you!) for still being there. You remind me why birthdays should be celebrated. 

This picture was my best favorite birthday gift, not a shameful plug for you to buy another copy of my book.
